What???

"What the hell is this all about?" I hear you ask. Well, if you need to ask then you don't belong here!

Like most blokes that breathe, I drink beer. But I don't just drink the foamy stuff, I truly enjoy the diversity and complexity that beer can afford to the palette. I have worked and owned restaurants and bars and have a love of wine. My wife is a chef and many memorable moments in life revolve around the sociality of eating and drinking. For many, to think of beer as a subtle and intricate drink on a level with wine would be to cross an irrevocable and sacred line into 'borishness'. Credibility would topple like the drunk at closing time!

All I can say to that is just read the label on a wine bottle! How much 'herbatious' or 'summer berries' or 'over tones' can you fit in a bottle without the simple the act of reading the thing not give you a headache?

We are currently on a 5 year journey around the globe. My goal is to search out and enjoy the diversity of the planets differing tipples and share this journey with you.
